Brittny B. Interviews Former Gwinnett County, Georgia Republican Party Chair
The Comeback Podcast with host Brittney B. was visited by Bruce LeVell, entrepreneur, former presidential advisor and public servant to discuss life, career and his take on overcoming adversity, succeeding in business and forging ahead in spite of setbacks.
Perhaps best known for his contribution to former President Donald Trump's 2016 campaign, LeVell was often in the midst of controversy for defending Trump's Platinum Plan for Black America. LeVell cited the fact that no other sitting US President ever committed $500 Billion to black people in America. As Trump's Executive Director of the National Diversity Coalition, LeVell met with Trump frequently and advised him throughout his 2016 Presidential campaign.
After working on Trump's campaign, LeVell ran for Georgia's 6th Congressional District seat in 2017 to replace Rep. Tom Price, R-Georgia after price resigned to assume a post as secretary of health and human services. Although he was unsuccessful in his bid for Congress, LeVell remained an ardent public servant. Currently, LeVell sits on the board of directors for CCA, Concerned Communities of America that launched a multi-state initiative called Conversations with Black America at the New Black Wall Street Market in Stonecrest, Ga. on Nov. 12, 2022.
Outside of politics, he is a devoted husband and father to his wife Sharon and daughter Leah. LeVell is also the owner of Dunwoody Diamonds USA and LeVell Properties LLC. and is the former chairman of the Gwinnett County Republican Party.
